Thanks to 4 years of hard work of the Salta Province and Cafayate's leading Wine players, Cafayate, the center of the wine growing area in the North West, has an amazing museum named El Museo de la Vid y el Vino. The museum includes climate conditions, history of the area, and history of Cafayate wine making and don't forget, WINE. If you visit Cafayate, this is a site you have to visit! We were completely blown away at the exhibits and presentation, mind you there is a lot of reading, but for a "small" town Cafayate, this is really big!
